THINGS TO LEARN FROM ;
FROM GROUP 1’S EXHIBIT, I THINK WE NEED TO THINK MORE ABOUT SPACING OUT OUR WORK MORE TO FILL THE ROOM BUT NOT TO OVERCROWD IT – WHICH CAN EASILY BE DONE BECAUSE WE DO HAVE A COUPLE SCULPTURE PIECES THAT WE’RE DISPLAYING.
COUNTDOWN – ONE DAY / TOMORROW !!
Personal Intake –
personally, i think that their exhibition was a little plain and it could’ve done with a little bit more work to fill the space because it looked a little plain. All of their pieces had components which i thought was quite interesting but it laced colour, it wasn’t very much of a experience, even though i have friends in that group I’m afraid to say that i don’t think it was successful because there wasn’t really much of an exhibition, i only say one tag with the name of the artist on and even though the pieces were spaced out it was really vague whether the pieces next to each other are from the same artists or not. The way the arts been displayed, i think it was deliberate to have all the pieces displayed on the floor, i think they’re conflicting the idea of a white cube space and having all art hung on the walls – but to be fair, majority of the work they’ve used wouldn’t work on the walls anyway
