my personal view, personally, it isn’t always my cup of tea because i don’t really understand it ? that may the route that the artist wants to go down even though, i enjoy academic challenges like that because i am more intrigued by work that i don’t understand in comparison to work thats easier to critique/analyse. Sometimes the work can also seem a little forced and i don’t agree with the idea of doing work to fit in, or doing work because you want to make money because all of my pieces art quite personal but its whatever tickles your fancy really. I haven’t ever been to an exhibition that has a theme of humour but I’ve seen pieces that could be seen as humorous but the view is the eye of the behold therefore, my work could be seen as humorous by a third party couldn’t it?
