I DIDN’T IMMEDIATELY PICK UP ON THIS BECAUSE I’M NOT A LOCAL, BUT ITS BASED ON THE HERITAGE OF BIRMINGHAM. WHAT WAS… WHAT’S MADE BIRMINGHAM ALL IT IS TODAY. A TIGHT KNIT COMMUNITY THAT ARE TRYING TO BUILD A FUTURE WITH ALL THE EVENTS THAT HAVE HAPPENED AND USING THAT TO IMPROVE THE CITY


Analyse all aspects of the gallery;
PERSONALLY I ONLY LIKED THE LAYOUT OF THE SCULPTURES BECAUSE THEY WERE SO LARGE AND OVERWHELMING YOU WERE FORCED TO WALK AROUND IT AND THAT WOULD ALWAYS AND FORMS THE PATH FOR YOU TO WALK THROUGH THE MUSEUM HOWEVER; THE 2D WORKS WAS AWKWARDLY FRAMED TOGETHER AND THERE WOULD BE A MASSIVE GAP BEFORE THE NEXT COUPLE PIECES THAT WOULD ALSO HAVE BEEN GROUPED TOGETHER

MY QUESTION: how do 2D&3D works relate?
I THOUGHT THERE WASNT A VASS DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BOTH OF THEM BECAUSE OF THE THICK FRAMING THEY ALL HAD WHICH CORRELATED WITH THE BIG CUBBISH/BOX FRAMES THE SCULPTURES WERE IN. AND MAYBE THAT WAS DONE DELIBERATELY IN THE MUSEUM TO HAVE A KIND OF THEME THROUGH OUT? HOWEVER I DIDN’T REALLY THINK IT WAS A SMART MOVE BECAUSE IT WAS A LITTLE WEIRD HAVING TO THINK & FIGURE OUT THE 2 FROM 3D.
THE WAY THE PIECES WERE HUNG WAS YEE LEVEL TO ADULTS BUT COULD’VE BEEN DIFFICULT FOR CHILDREN TO VIEW BECAUSE OF THE HEIGHT DIFFERENCES
